Happy Sabbath Saints,
I want to encourage you to be a "quitter" this year! Let's consider 5 areas, and if they don't fit you, pray and come up with your own things to quit this year.
1. Quit fearing change, a fear of change prevents you from truly living. Sure, not all change is good, but good can come from all change.
2. Quit putting yourself down, this could mean God made a mistake. Start saying daily affirmations about yourself. Find positive things that God said about us in the Bible and declare them.
3. Quit over-thinking, inquisitiveness can lead to overthinking. This is not a good thing, not only is it a time waster, it's a stressor that leads to anxiety and worry.
4. Quit trying to please everyone. This will cause us to lose sight of who God
made us to be. Focus on pleasing God alone, to become your best you.
5. Quit living in the past, it can be an all-consuming pastime. Imagine all the
miracle moments missed while obsessing about the past. The past has passed,
we can't change it. Find the good in the present
"For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of
a sound mind". 2 Timothy 1:7
Many Blessings to you,
Sandra Jackson
